Memorial to the Fallen and Missing of 1974

This monument is a modest tribute to our fellow villagers who gave their lives for their country or are missing during the Turkish Invasion of 1974. It was designed and crafted by Charalambos (Pambos) Michlis. The work includes the busts of 9 heroes from Achna community.

These heroes are: Lambros Dimitri Vardakis, Georgios Sokratis Georgiou, Georgios Andreas Ioakeim, Kyriakos Panagiotis Kkolou, Giannakis Nikola Kokkinou, Andreas Georgiou Pavlou Kontou, Panagiotis Andreas Konstantinou, Adoulis Christofi Senekki, and Adonis Dimou Christoforou. By November 2022, we hope to complete the surrounding area of the monument.
