Pernera Beach Ayia Napa

Pernera Beach is located at the opposite end from the harbour towards the edge of Sandy Bay Beach. It shelves gently into crystal clear seas making it very popular with families.

This beach offers more than just sun and sand. Just 170 meters offshore lies the Museum of Underwater Sculpture Ayia Napa (MUSAN), a unique underwater forest blending art and marine life.

Opened in 2021, MUSAN features over 93 sculptures by artist Jason deCaires Taylor. These life-sized artworks, including human figures and trees, over time evolve into living reefs.

The sculptures are situated at depths of 8 to 10 meters. Snorkelers and divers can explore this submerged gallery, witnessing the interplay between art and nature.

MUSAN is accessible to both beginners and experienced divers. Visitors can bring their own snorkeling gear or rent equipment nearby.
